Beyond the Workout
Build Strength. Enhance Recovery. Support Overall Wellbeing.
Creating the conditions for stronger, more sustainable performance—from the inside out.
Where: F45 Santan Village
When: Saturday, August 15th @ 10:30am
Your workout is only part of the equation.
Training gives your body a stimulus. But what happens next—how you nourish, digest, recover, regulate stress, sleep, and restore—shapes your body's ability to adapt and become stronger.
Beyond the Workout explores the often-overlooked conditions that support strength, recovery, energy, and overall wellbeing.
Through accessible science, practical strategies, and embodied experience, you’ll learn how to better support your body—not simply by doing more, but by creating the conditions that allow it to perform, recover, and thrive.
What You’ll Learn:
Why recovery and adaptation, not just training, are essential to building strength
How the gut microbiome influences energy, inflammation, immune function, recovery, and mental wellbeing
Why fiber, plant diversity, and adequate protein work together to support both muscle and whole-body health
How digestion and nutrient absorption influence your body's ability to repair, rebuild, and perform
How stress and nervous-system state affect digestion, recovery, and your capacity to adapt
Simple ways to create more supportive conditions for sustainable strength, energy, and wellbeing
This workshop is for anyone who wants to:
Build strength and improve performance without simply pushing harder
Recover better between workouts
Understand how gut health, stress, sleep, and daily habits influence fitness
Support more consistent energy and resilience
Build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with training
Feel stronger and better—both in and out of the gym
What to Expect
This isn't another workshop about what you should or shouldn't be doing.
Instead, we'll explore how the body actually builds strength—and what helps or hinders that process.
You can expect accessible science, practical strategies, a short embodied practice, and simple ways to begin supporting your body's capacity for recovery and adaptation right away.
You'll also receive a take-home Beyond the Workout Guide with practical ideas you can continue exploring after the workshop.
